Audi drop top Barbarian – History of Audi

Audi Car

Audi is a German luxury automobile brand that has a long and rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The company was founded in 1909 by August Horch, a former automotive engineer who had previously founded another car company named Horch. However, after a legal dispute with his former partners, Horch was forced to leave the company and start a new one. He chose the name Audi, which is the Latin translation of his last name.

Audi quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality and performance. During World War II, Audi produced a number of military vehicles for the German army. In the post-war era, the company began producing automobiles again and eventually merged with three other German automakers to form the Volkswagen Group.

One of Audi’s popular engine options is the 2.0 TFSI motor. This engine first appeared in 2004 in the Audi A3 Sportback and has since been used in a variety of other models, including the A4, A5, and Q5. The engine features direct injection and a turbocharger, which allows it to deliver impressive power and torque while still maintaining good fuel efficiency. The 2.0 TFSI motor has been praised for its smooth performance and refined driving experience, making it a popular choice for Audi enthusiasts around the world.
